Composer and cornet player Ray Ronnie is captured live on this 1962 recording performing his tune "Salty Bubble" and nine other tunes with trombonist Jerry Kaehele's Good Time Levee Stompers. The Levee Stompers were Tom Sharpsteen & Walt Sereth - clarinet, Gordon Wilson - piano, Mike Fay - bassist, Vic Loring - banjo. Tracks: Salty Bubble, Snag It, Willie the Weeper, Far Away Blues, Oriental Man, Weary Blues, Winin' Boy, Sweet Sue, Burgundy Street, Blue Bells Goodbye. "Salty Bubble" was also recorded Tom Sharpsteen and his Orlando's in 1994. The 1994 Sharpsteen version will be used by Woody Allen in his newest film "Whatever Works" to be released on June 19th, 2009.
