Recorded at Rough Sounds studio in Redondo Beach, this release comes hard on the heels of Chuck's Perseverance and Conscious Dub releases with hard and heavy reggae riddims and lyrics attuned to the times. Chuck's passion for reggae has manifested in over 30 years of reggae radio in Los Angeles, two decades as Reggae Update columnist for Beat Magazine and two books (Roots Rock Reggae published in 1999 by Billboard Books and The Small Axe Guide To Rock Steady which came out in 2009). Now he is making his own music with the help of a stellar line-up of Jamaican and LA-based reggae musicians with all-original material. This release includes five new dubs and ten new songs in the grand tradition of roots reggae.
