DICK'S PICKS 25: MAY 10 1978 NEW HAVEN CT & MAY 11 1978 - The one and only Owsley "Bear" Stanely recorded "Vol. 25" with Betty Cantor-Jackson-which means that this 4-CD set offers some of the highest fidelity in the series. Out of print for years and never before available at music retail, these two concerts from the Dead's 1978 East Coast tour appear here minus just two and three songs, respectively. Among their best shows of that year, they include a rare performance of Warren Zevon's "Werewolves of London" (which they only played about a dozen times live).
