Vinyl LP pressing of this release by the Manchester post-punk band fronted by the enigmatic and eccentric Mark E. Smith. Available for the first time on vinyl, this collection compiles the singles released around This Nation's Saving Grace and includes five tracks from the bands' 1985 BBC Peel sessions - 'Cruiser's Creek', 'Couldn't Get Ahead', 'Gut Of The Quantifier', 'Spoilt Victorian Child' and 'L.A.' Also included is the track "Ma Riley" which made it's debut on the CD box set in 2011. The band's then-most current album, This Nation's Saving Grace, was their eighth studio album by the band and was released on Beggars Banquet. That album received acclaim from critics and fans. This set of recordings from the same period reflect the energy from this period in the band's life.
