In the Unites States, the album spent 18 weeks at number one on the Billboard Top 200 chart. Containing classic songs "Be My Baby" by The Ronettes, "Stay" by Maurice Williams & The Zodiacs, and "Hey Baby" by Bruce Chanel among many others, it also featured the singles "Hungry Eyes" by Eric Carmen and "She's Like The Wind" by Patrick Swayze. The theme song "(I've Had) The Time of My Life" performed by Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes won the Academy Award and Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song, as well as the Grammy Award from best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals
