Shirley Collins - one of the most respected and legendary folk song collectors and singers has announced her return to recording after 38 years with Lodestar. Lodestar is a collection of English, American and Cajun songs dating from the 16th Century to the 1950s, it was recorded at Shirley's home in Lewes by Steven Thrower and Ossian Brown (both Cyclobe) and produced and musically directed by Ian Kearey.
