Making Big Subjects Personal Through Songwriting: Rozzi Joins Tower's Live Show + Performance!

We were very excited over at Tower to have Rozzi join our Instagram Live show, hosted by Whitney Moore, to talk about her recent singles, including "Orange Skies". The new release partly funds relief efforts for those affected by the California Wildfires and Rozzi is contributing to helping out those in her home state.

As Rozzi discusses during the show, her goal in creating the song was to make the stories of the fires really "personal" and "intimate" because the subject seems so big and overwhelming that people find it hard to process its realities and find ways that they can help.

Rozzi reflects on how mind-blowing it is that one of her songs, "Love Song" has gone gold in Australia, covered by an Australian musician, and the experiences of being a songwriter as well as a performer. For her, it's a great honor when other musicians want to perform her songs and she's all for it.

As she mentions during the show, Rozzi is the co-host of the “Ugh! You’re So Good!” podcast, with guests like Michelle Kwan, Jonathan Van Ness and Betty Who.

During the show, Rozzi also performed versions of "Joshua Tree", which is her favorite song from her first album, and "Best Friend Song", one of her latest singles. Stay tuned to Rozzi's socials because she will be hosting the Gritty In Pink Election Night Livestream on November 3rd.
