Embrace's 'Out Of Nothing' And 'This New Day' Get First-Time Vinyl Release & A Livestream Concert October 31st

UK band Embrace are set to reissue their albums Out of Nothing and This New Day for the first time on 180-gram vinyl this October 30th from Craft Recordings. When Out of Nothing was originally released in 2004, it took the band to the top of the charts with the hit song "Gravity" written by Coldplay’s Chris Martin for the album.

This New Day will be available worldwide and Out of Nothing will be available worldwide excluding North America. The reissues were cut at London’s Metropolis Studios and will come with printed inner sleeves.

To mark the two landmark album reissues, on October 31st, Embrace will play an exclusive one-time-only online live performance of Out of Nothing in full. Tickets for this event are on sale here. Coinciding with the one-off performance is a limited-edition red vinyl pressing of Out of Nothing, which will be released via the band’s store and UK independent record shops on October 30th.

Frontman Danny McNamara comments on the releases and performance:

“It’s great to be celebrating two very special records from the band’s catalogue in this way. We’d been dropped by our previous record company before we made Out of Nothing and pretty much written off as a band, so to come back with the biggest and most successful record of our career to date was nothing short of a miracle—people were calling it ‘the best comeback since Lazarus!’ And then to follow-up that success with This New Day and another number one album was amazing. It was a magical time for the band.”

The band have also released a remastered video for "Gravity" which was previously only available to watch online in pixelated low definition. The video was recorded at London’s Abbey Road Studios.
