L.A Alternative Rock band The Only Ocean are back with another single,  "Wasted Days", available for streaming now. Frontman Wesley Hill previously appeared on our Tower Instagram Live show to talk about their previous single "Watch It Fall" and you can still rewatch that show right here.

"Wasted Days" takes inspiration from Sisters of Mercy, and The Cure, and was Produced by Jon Debaun (The Mars Volta, Le Butcherettes, Mastodon, and Rituals Of Mine).

The band comments on the new single:

"'Wasted Days” is about wasting all your time on someone and knowing that nothing is going to come from it. Realizing you’ve wasted so many days and you’ll never get them back. All the time you could have spent growing, you spent going nowhere. If anything, it made you worse. Sometimes walking away from someone can actually be better for the both of you."

Formed in Lompoc, CA, during bandleader Wesley Hill’s high school days, the band evolved into a four-piece hitting festival stages in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara, eventually moving further south in Los Angeles, where all four members are from originally. New members include guitarist Tamara Simons, drummer Jonathan Palmquist, and bassist Jordan Kaufman.
