Mick Rock's David Bowie: Space Oddity Photos Grace Limited Release Picture Disc

Don't sleep on the fact that a limited-edition picture disc of Space Oddity has just arrived in Tower's shop, featuring the same Mick Rock photos as the original 1972 RCA release of the re-titled album. Only better! The photos have actually been newly scanned from the original negatives courtesy of Rock.

As we're sure all Bowie fans will know, the 1969 album titled David Bowie was re-released in 1972 with new packaging and photography, and titled Space Oddity after its lead single.

This picture disc contains the 2009 40th anniversary remaster of the album and comes with a replica of the poster which was part of the package at the time of the 1972 release.

While you're here, might as well watch the official video!
