French producer Thierry David once lived in Peru, a fact that makes sense when you hear his tasteful use of pan pipes and the vast, sweeping canyons and mountain peaks of his compositions. Employing synthesizers and chilled-out percussion, David's 2007 debut album for Real Music is a lovely slice of ambience that can be used for meditative purposes or for more active listening.
