Review

The Wire (p.62) - "'Reaction In G' starts out on a plodding beat familiar from mid-period Pink Floyd, though with looser guitars, and soon builds to an almost epic scale. 'Kumao' blossoms into a canon of pretty, interlocking voices..."
Mojo (Publisher) (p.109) - 3 stars out of 5 -- "[C]osmically inclined music that combines homespun innocence with prog-rock experience..."

Title Note

Nagisa Ni Te: Shinji Shibayama (vocals, guitar, glockenspiel); Masako Takeda (vocals, guitar, drums, cymbals, hi-hat); Naoki Zushi (vocals, guitar); Takashi Yamada (vocals, bass instrument); Masayuki Yoshida (electric piano, Hammond b-3 organ).

Audio Mixers: Shinji Shibayama; Masako Takeda.

Japanese duo Nagisa Ni Te specialize in a languorous blend of gentle acoustic guitars, hushed male-female vocals, and narcoleptic melodies--fusing psychedelia, alt-folk, and twee pop into a quiet whole. YOSUGA, the duo's seventh album, builds on the sound and feel of its six predecessors. Highlights include "Seven Seas" and the shimmering "Gathering of Stars."
