Title Note

This LP is a left turn even for Marc Bianchi, the Her Space Holiday helmsman who started out as a hardcore kid before turning to smooth, often downbeat electro-centered music. A back to basics album is somewhat of a clich‚ in music, but it's the best way to describe PANDA, on which Bianchi shelves the computer for playful and loose guitar-based melodies. Opener "New Kid Revival" announces the album's clappy, good-vibes outlook, confirmed by the poppy sing-along "The Truth Hurts So This Should be Painless," and a guest spot from American Analog Set's Andrew Kenny.
