Title Note

Guitarist and singer John Pizzarelli's smooth supper-club style is always well executed, and his familiar repertoire (see his 2006 tribute to Frank on DEAR MR. SINATRA) makes his music all the more charming. Pizzarelli continues in this vein by visiting the Richard Rodgers songbook on WITH A SONG IN MY HEART. Backed by his tasteful trio on some tracks, and a quartet of brass and reeds on others, Pizzarelli swings favorite tunes such as the title track and "The Lady Is a Tramp." A special guest appearance from father Bucky Pizzarelli on "It's Easy to Remember" is among the highlights.
