Young Teeka works hard to train some wild reindeer to pull Santa's sleigh. Unfortunately, the reindeer won't do as she commands. One day, she realizes that perhaps if she treated the reindeer with kindness, rather than yelling at them or bossing them around, they just might want to listen to her. Will the reindeer be ready to fly by Christmas Eve? Color illustrations accompany the text, which features different reindeer than those in more well-known Santa Claus legends.
