Florida-based guitarist and vocalist Robbie Altar leads a tight power-blues trio on this blistering set of originals. Although Alter generally favors a rocking approach, the slow, gutbucket burn of "Bluesman Tim" reveals a soulful singer and skilled picker at the heart of all that jumpin' around. The ace rhythm section of Richie (bass) and Bobby (drums) Goldman keeps the whole operation buoyant.
