Released in the wake of the Dixie Chicks multi-million selling WIDE OPEN SPACES CD, it would be easy to dismiss SHeDAISY's debut as an attempt to clone the female trio sound. But SHeDAISY, a trio of singing sisters from Utah, make a completely different brand of country music than the Grammy-winning Chicks. SHeDAISY's secret weapons are their incredible harmonies and their innovative vocal arrangements. From the opener, "Little Good-byes," which cleverly details what a woman leaves behind when she walks out on her man, to the final track, the romantic "Dancing With Angels," nearly every song on THE WHOLE SHEBANG sparkles with wit, humor, sass and heartfelt emotion.

Every song was written or co-written by SHeDAISY member Kristyn Osborn. Highlights include "I Will...But," which manages to namecheck both Martha Stuart and Barbie, "Before Me and You," in which the vocal parts weave in and out seamlessly, and "Lucky 4 You (Tonight I'm Just Me)," the hilarious story of a woman whose ex accuses her of having multiple personalities. With appealing pop/country production from Dan Huff (who worked the same magic on Faith Hill's FAITH), THE WHOLE SHEBANG just may be the sound of this format's future.
