Mesh Match For "White Knuckles" CD by The Bacon Brothers:

The Bacon Brothers Artist Snapshot:

Kevin Bacon has been acting in movies since 1978, and his brother Michael Bacon has been composing for TV and film since about the same time. Although they've been singing together since they were kids, their official recorded debut in 1997 surprised and delighted critics and fans alike. Their unflashy music combines country, folk, classic rock, and a little bit o' soul for a pleasing mesh that does not scream "side project." Several albums later, the duo still perform regularly in between acting and composing gigs.

The Bacon Brothers: Ira Siegel (vocals, electric guitar, 6-string guitar, 12-string guitar, dobro, banjo, mandolin, tamboura); Michael Bacon (vocals, 6-string guitar, 12-string guitar, cello); Kevin Bacon (vocals, 6-string guitar, 12-string guitar, harmonica, congas, djembe, dumbek, percussion); Paul Guzzone (vocals, 6-string guitar, 12-string guitar, electric bass); Charlie Giordano (accordion, piano, Wurlitzer piano, Hammond b-3 organ); Frank Vilardi (drums, djembe, percussion).

Recording information: Bennett Studios, Englewood, NJ.

On 2005's WHITE KNUCKLES, the Bacon Brothers present another engaging set of roots rock, this time incorporating more refined pop-oriented production, courtesy of singer/guitarist siblings Kevin and Michael themselves. The brothers are equally comfortable on country-tinged tunes (the twangy "Good News") and spare strummers (the melancholy "Unhappy Birthday"), once again proving that they are much more than just a side project for the renowned actor Kevin.
