Title Note

After a string of promising 12-inch singles that suggested Lindstrom might be the dance genre's next savior, the Norwegian producer made good on his promise with IT'S A FEEDELITY AFFAIR, his dazzling 2006 full-length debut. Its follow-up, WHERE YOU GO I GO TOO, continues to push and refine Lindstrom's lush, atmospheric techno. An EP that carries the heft and impact of a long-player, WHERE YOU GO folds in the artist's usual range of influences, including disco, house, ambient, and Steve Reich-derived polyphony. Don't be alarmed that there are only three tracks: the title cut weighs just shy of 30 minutes, and Lindstrom packs enough meticulous, sparkling detail into every second to make the disc as satisfying on headphones as it is on the dance floor.
