Title Note

Though the Trammps had success with dance-floor favorites like "Disco Inferno" and "Hold Back the Night," they remain one of the best-kept secrets of the 1970s Philly Sound era. This late-period '70s release (the band continued in different configurations well into the 21st century) showcases their blend of sophisticated dance music, innovative arrangements, and street-friendly entertainment. Highlights include the inventive circular bass line on the extended title track, their disco version of Wilson Pickett's "Ninety-nine and a Half," and the cover art, which features the band camped out in what appears to be a riverside hobo jungle.
