Contemporary gospel performer Donnie McClurkin emerged on the gospel scene with his 1996 self-titled debut album, which featured the hit single "Stand." Though his career has not been without political and personal controversy (McClurkin is affiliated with the controversial "ex-gay" movement, and admits to having fathered a child out of wedlock), he remains a hugely popular figure on the contemporary black gospel scene. His most popular albums include 2005's Grammy-winning PSALMS, HYMNS AND SPIRITUAL SONGS.

The anointed pastor, singer, producer and radio host Donnie McClurkin has delivered messages of hope to the masses for years. We All Are One – Live In Detroit marks his return since the 2005 release Psalms, Hymns & Spiritual Songs. His latest album, We All Are One – Live In Detroit , combines tracks recorded at Straight Gate International Church in Detroit, with brand new studio tracks featuring guests such as Mary Mary, Yolanda Adams and CeCe Winans. Co-producers on this album include Asaph Ward, who has worked with Dorinda Clark -Cole, Kim Burrell and Smokie Norful, as well as producers Justin Savage and Trent Phillips.

A companion DVD was taped during this live performance in partnership with Feed The Children, an international organization that delivers food, medicine, clothing and other staples to people in need due to poverty, war or famine. Four segments of the live recording will be used in a Feed The Children special set to air in November. A DVD of the full concert is scheduled for release in 2009.
