2007's VIRGO BLAKTRO AND THE MOVIEDISCO finds high profile Chicago house DJ Felix da Housecat dropping another collection of tasty dancefloor tracks, this time out with a sleek, mainstream feel that focuses on melody and structure without sacrificing groove. Felix provides vocals for many of the tracks, and keeps his more idiosyncratic tendencies in check. This may disappoint some long-time fans, but the accessible, funky results will entice those unfamiliar with the house music phenomenon.
