The Very Best of Jerry Lee Lewis spotlights 28 tracks recorded for the legendary Memphis studio Sun in the '50s. Along with the original versions of "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On," "Great Balls of Fire," "Breathless," and "High School Confidential" are early country sides such as "I Can't Seem to Say Goodbye," "Waiting for a Train," and "Cold, Cold Heart." Although this isn't a bad single disc, there are far better collections available, offering more songs for not much more money. ~ Al Campbell
