The Swedish-born singer and guitarist Jose Gonzalez performs subtly beautiful acoustic folk-pop with an impeccable musical technique and vocals that recall the 1960s duo Simon & Garfunkel. Songs like "Heartbeats," "Crosses," and "Deadweight on Velveteen" are quietly seductive and utterly beguiling.
