This 1993 collection marked a turning point for Argentina's Los Fabulosos Cadillacs. The first release of a worldwide record deal, it introduced them to the U.S. with a combination of cherry-picked cuts from early albums, re-recorded (and arguably improved) versions of some old songs, and perhaps most importantly, a couple of brand new tracks. One of those new cuts, "El Matador," would become the band's signature song. The Cadillacs hadn't yet added some of the harder-edged rock influences of their later work, so the dominant feel here is peppy ska mixed with percolating salsa.
