On its second major label outing, UNTIL THERE'S NOTHING LEFT OF US, Kill Hannah presents another sharply honed set of alternative-rock songs that proudly borrow from the sounds of late-1990s Smashing Pumpkins and Placebo (see the propulsive, guitar-laden "Lips Like Morphine"). The Chicago-based group also makes clear nods to the late '80s in its fairly faithful cover of the Church's jangle-pop classic "Under the Milky Way," proving that Kill Hannah is acutely aware of its modern-rock lineage.

This has got to be the greatest band that I have ever seen that HAS NOT MADE IT HUGE!!!!! I saw them in Atlanta last night for the second time. The first time at The Loft and this time at The Masquerade. This band puts on an unbelievable show. If you have not seen them, you do not know what you are missing! Go to one of their shows and you will not be disappointed and you will be a instant fan.
