Title Note

This follow up to Anthony B's smash debut album SO MANY THINGS includes his hits "Damage" and "Waan Back." In a well-conceived album, here producer Richard "Bello" Bell and the DJ explore new directions. There's more stylistic variety than on B's previous album, more than simply one rebel tune after another. The album is broader in appeal than SO MANY THINGS, and that diversity is its delight.

"Nah Vote Again" is pure Anthony B with a twist of Peter Tosh, and "Zinc Fence Jungle" is a tuneful combination style with Luciano, while "Universal Struggle" and "Jerusalem" are both fine roots tunes. The Bell-written "Damage" is one of the DJ's toughest and most moving cultural songs, while the catchy "Waan Back," (over the singular "Night Nurse" rhythm) is his vividly descriptive yearning for back-in-the-day dancehall. Cuts also include his popular Bob Marley medley, "Marley Memories," and "Storm Sax," a Dean Fraser version of the album's opening cut.
