Don't bother telling New York City gutter-punks the Casualties that it's not 1977, because you can bet they're not listening. Gang-chorus vocals, fist-pumping screw-the-system lyrics, and breakneck rhythms and riffs are the order of the day on all of the band's many records, and, thankfully, things don't change a bit with 2006's UNDER ATTACK. Given the plethora of emo and pop-punk bands cluttering the airwaves in the early aughts, it's easy to forget that punk was once confrontational and frightening. Thankfully, we have the Casualties to remind us of the salad days.
