Recording information: M.O.B. Hamburg, Germany (1988 - 1989).

By their third album, KMFDM consisted only of founding members Sascha Konietzko and En Esch. While they never entered the mainstream to the degree of Nine Inch Nails, KMFDM laid the groundwork for Trent Reznor's commercial breakthrough by redefining industrial music as brittle, noisy anti-disco on UAIOE. The tracks throb with the sensuality of dance music while retaining the agit-prop and mechanized clatter of early European industrial music.
