With a voice, style and personality that draws from her inspirations growing up but
is distinctly her own, Laura Bryna is emerging as one of the bright new sensations
coming out of Nashville.

A native of Mount Airy, Maryland, Laura s love of country music developed at a
very early age. She and her mother spent hours listening to the sweet, melancholy
sounds of artists like Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn on country radio as they drove
to and from Washington, DC to visit Laura s older brother in the hospital as he recovered
from a brain aneurism that left him in a coma for over six months. Country music really got us through some very tough times, says Laura. They were songs about real life experiences, similar to what my family was going through.

Laura s passion for country music soon grew to include writing and performing. That passion eventually drove her to pick up and move to Nashville, where she enrolled in music classes at Belmont University and landed internships around Music Row.

The move to Nashville did not distract Laura from another of her passions. Laura also continued her long-standing commitment to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, a cause she d become quite familiar with during those many long days and nights at the hospital. Her work with the organization continues to this day, devoting time to endeavors ranging from volunteering to wish-granting. In fact, so emotionally involved with the cause is Laura that she was inspired to co-write a moving song aptly titled Make A Wish , a track that would eventually become the first single on TRYING TO BE ME.

With more people being exposed each day to Laura Bryna s vocal talents, beauty, fashion sense and larger-than-life persona, they are uncovering a very special gem the one that lies within
her heart as well as her voice.
