TOTALLY HITS 2004 VOL. 2 looks back on pop music during the second half of the year in question. One of the best things about the TOTALLY HITS series is the way it takes popular songs of every variety and places them into a mix where music fans can listen to their favorite smashes, while hearing a little bit from genres they may have overlooked.

The popular reality-TV series AMERICAN IDOL continued to reign with releases from Kimberley Locke and 2004 champion Fantasia, while country icon Alan Jackson teamed up with lounge-rock idol Jimmy Buffett.
