A former student at Boston's renowned Berklee School of Music, Florida-based vocalist/pianist/songwriter Hilary McRae first garnered attention with her 2008 debut, THROUGH THESE WALLS, a confident set of horn-filled pop/R&B tunes issued by Starbucks' Hear Music label. Unlike many of her folk-leaning contemporaries, McRae possesses a powerful, full-bodied voice, one that is perfectly suited for her songs' boisterous arrangements, which nod to 1970s acts such as Chicago and Earth, Wind & Fire.

she has a really nice voice, better then most of the young pop artists out there. This isnt your typical teen music, although some of the tunes have the pop vibe, some have more of a blues influence. I like the first single, worth picking it up imo
