Led by the melodic primal scream of frontman Adam Gontier, Three Days Grace formed in Norwood, Ontario, in 1997. Through extensive touring, the four-piece slowly amassed a following for its trademark brand of fiery post-grunge metal, and by 2003 had secured a major label deal with Jive Records. That year they broke out in a million-selling way with a self-titled debut led by the modern rock smashes "(I Hate) Everything About You" and "Just Like You." The band avoided any sophomore jinx with the hit-producing 2006 follow-up, ONE X.
