Title Note

Long Beach is a sunny outpost of Los Angeles, but the screamo vampires in I Am Ghost have found their own little kingdom of darkness beneath the superficial brightness. THOSE WE LEAVE BEHIND may be referring to the dead, but it could also refer to recent ex-bandmate Kerith Telestai, whose violin and backup vocals once helped define the band's sound. With her departure, leader Steve Juliano relocated the music's center, and the songs on THOSE WE LEAVE BEHIND thrive on airborne choruses, tangled post-hardcore guitars, and the doomed poetic lyrics I Am Ghost is known for
