With three of the four original Asia members reuniting in 1990, the band's original label, Geffen, issued a best-of set, THEN AND NOW, which also includes a few new tracks to boot. All of the expected cuts from the band's early-'80s heyday are included: its Top 10 pop hit "Heat of the Moment," one of 1982's biggest, the near-ballad "Only Time Will Tell," the rocker "Don't Cry," the grand album closer "Voice of America," and the stately "The Smile Has Left Your Eyes." THEN AND NOW is a highly recommended purchase for newcomers to the band who want to hear only the very best that this prog-rock supergroup had to offer.
