Product Notes

The old anime standbys of violence and ecchi (brief nudity and teasing sexuality) abound in the schoolyard shounen (boy's show) TENJHO TENGE. Souichiro and Bob are the new students at Toudou Academy and expect to quickly dominate the school with their superior fighting skills. However, they are shocked to discover that many of the students at the Academy are excellent fighters themselves, including the Natsume sisters, who have an immediate love-hate response to the two newcomers. Souichiro and Bob are forced into an uneasy alliance with the sisters when all are threatened by the vicious Student Executive Council that dominates the martial-arts scene at the Academy. In this eighth volume, which includes four episodes, Shin's death paves the way for a battle over the cursed sword, the Chokuto Reiki.
