Synopsis

Shakespeare's play tells of the shipwrecked magician Prospero (Efrem Zimbalist, Jr.) and his beautiful daughter as they deal with a crew of sailors. Shakespeare's most magical play is brought to life here, in a production boasting elaborate sets and costumes based on those of Shakespeare's own era.An adaptation of the play by William Shakespeare. Due to a storm King Alonso and his companions are stranded on the island of the magician Prospero. Assuming his son dead, Alonso repents his former deeds, unaware his son arrived on the island separately and has fallen in love with Prospero's daughter.
