Title Note

On its full-length debut, TELL IT TO THE VOLCANO, the Phoenix-based alternative-pop ensemble Miniature Tigers presents a buoyant set of melodic tunes. With its charmingly quirky sound (see jangly "Cannibal Queen" and the jaunty "Last Night's Fake Blood"), the group is a kindred spirit to acts such as Ben Folds and Phantom Planet, which is no surprise since the Tigers share guitarist Darren Robinson with the latter band.
