TAKEN is a French-produced action thriller revolving around the abduction of a former spy's daughter. Nathaniel Mechaly (REVOLVER, SYLVIA) composed the pulse-racing score. Rife with action sequences, TAKEN is musically in league with modern-era espionage films like THE BOURNE IDENTITY and CASINO ROYALE. Mechaly, primarily known for his French television work, enhances the film's razor-edge tension with a combination of emotive string arrangements and cold, digital synthesizers.

MORE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT

Written by Luc Besson (The Fifth Element), this brand new action/thriller sees a former spy (Liam Neeson) relying on his old skills to save his estranged daughter (Maggie Grace), who has been forced into the slave trade. A different kind of story-line for the usually more traditional Neeson, Taken is expected to present an outstanding result for Fox/Europacorp worldwide!

Doing this film also propelled Famke Janssen to take action in the real fight against corruption. She now serves as the Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Office against Drugs and Crime.
