This volume also includes Moore's classic collaboration with Watchmen illustrator Dave Gibbons, "For the Man Who Has Everything," in which Batman, Robin and Wonder Woman find Superman held captive by the villain Mongul in the Fortress of Solitude.

Just a few years before he would write himself into the annals of comic-books history with his ground-breaking Watchmen series, writer Alan Moore worked on a few definitive Superman stories for DC Comics. This updated edition releases Moore's work with Curt Swan, the artist who penned many of the best Superman stories in the 1950s through the 1970s, as well as his collaboration "For the Man Who Has Everything" with Dave Gibbons, who would go on to be the illustrator for WATCHMEN.
