Title Note

In 2007, Vice Records reissued the Boredoms' previously import-only SUPER ROOTS series in the United States. The various singles and EPs released in the series' first six installments represent an important evolutionary stage in the Boredoms' remarkable career.

Members of the band believed that the number four was full of bad mojo, so the series skipped ahead to volume 5. Like its predecessor, this disc is comprised of a single extended workout. "Go!!!!!" is 64 minutes of relentless percussion and trance-inducing electronic drone. But if the listener is brave enough to stand up to the crashing waves of sound, there are sublime, transcendent moments within the caterwauling.
