Widely considered the don of the stateside drum & bass movement, Damien Higgins (Dieselboy) has garnered considerable renown within the genre, being the first D&B artist to score a billboard chart hit. Asserting, once again, his underground credentials and DJ-roots, SUBSTANCE D is a two-CD set comprised of exclusive tracks and remixes, alongside a DJ-mix disc. Steeped in the hard-hitting breaks for which he is known, Dieselboy trades some of his crossover ambitions for a return to the malevolent bass-pressure of techstep.
