Getting his start as part of Latin dance/popsters Grupo Mania, teen heartthrob Elvis Crespo found greater success after launching a solo career in the late '90s. Crespo couldn't have picked a better time to enter the Latin pop sweepstakes, following such previous trailblazers as Marc Anthony, Ricky Martin, and Enrique Iglesias to the top of the charts worldwide.
