Weird Al Yankovic's STRAIGHT OUTTA LYNWOOD further assures his heavyweight title as the king of pop parody. Chamillionaire's "Ridin'Dirty" is spun into a self-conscious poke at race when it becomes "White and Nerdy," and the national boundaries of Green Day's "American Idiot" are shifted in "Canadian Idiot." Elsewhere, Weird Al takes on the Killers, Usher, and the Black Eyed Peas, but he also contributes several originals that display the same goofy, satirical edge as his comic revisions of the hits. Longtime fans of Weird Al's shtick will have plenty to enjoy, and the DualDisc version, which contains animation, karaoke versions, and a featurette, is icing on the cake.
