Review

Kerrang (Magazine) (p.54) - "[I]t's a clean, professional job that's fortified by some of Lynott's best material..."
Mojo (Publisher) (p.120) - 4 stars out of 5 -- "Thirty-two years on, the combination punch of 'Cowboy Song' and 'The Boys Are Back In Town' is still a knockout."

Title Note

Thin Lizzy: Phil Lynott (vocals, bass guitar); Scott Gorham, Brian Robertson (guitar); Brian Downey (drums).

Audio Mixer: Glyn Johns.

Recording information: Sphere Studios.

This live album captures a fiery Thin Lizzy in concert delivering hits like "Jailbreak" and "The Boys Are Back in Town" with even more bite and ferocity than the studio versions. The band's signature twin-guitar leads are in full effect, and frontman Phil Lynott is in peak form, leading the crowd in a rowdy singalong on "Baby Drives Me Crazy" and evoking Van Morrison on "Dancing in the Moonlight." Meanwhile, the heavy, frenetic riffs of "Massacre" offer an indication of just why Lizzy was so influential to '80s metal bands.
