What separates Brooke from the pack is her passionate sincerity, and a talent for producing honest, compelling stories.

"Linger" lives up to its name, with the infectious, memorable refrain of a truly remarkable pop song. Wonderful guest shots abound, like Spearhead's Michael Franti growling underneath the chorus of the enthralling title track, Neil Finn's vocal help on the gentle "New Dress," and Joe Sample's spiraling keyboards on the sweetly winding "How Deep Is Your Love."
