Two science-fiction adventures are included on this fantastical 2-pack. In STARGATE, a visually creative space adventure from the team that would go on to give the world INDEPENDENCE DAY and GODZILLA, a timid, glasses-wearing Egyptologist (James Spader) uncovers an ancient portal to another planet and is dispatched there forthwith--along with blundering, clodfooted government troops. In MOON 44, it is the year 2038, the Earth has no natural resources left and mining must be established on other planets. Pirite, a renegade company, is attacking the planetary shuttles with the help of inside information. Agent Stone is dispatched to determine where the leaks are coming from but finds that Pirite is not the only enemy on Moon 44.
