With entertaining and energetic songwriting by HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL alums Matthew Gerrard and Robbie Nevil and choreographed by RJ Durell (Madonna, Britney Spears), SPECTACULAR! blends traditional musical elements with boisterous rock opera antics. The movie also features inventive updates on the Survivor classic "Eye of the Tiger" and 10cc's "Things We Do For Love."

Nickelodeon began airing music videos from “Spectacular!” on November 9 and will have four videos in heavy rotation by January 12. Large scale musical performances are featured consistently throughout the movie with 10 original songs and 2 covers (Eye of the Tiger and The Things We Do For Love), all performed by the movie’s talented cast!

The music is upbeat, catchy and energetic with a rock edge. The 10 original songs are written by hit - making songwriters Matthew Gerrard and Robbie Nevil. Gerrard has written hits for Kelly Clarkson,Nick Carter and Hilary Duff and contributed songs to “High School Musical,” “Cheetah Girls” and “Hannah Montana.” Robbie Nevil co -wrote the theme song for “Hannah Montana” as well as songs for “High School Musical.”
