Two lesser known (but still exciting) albums featuring Vincent, rock's original bad boy, and the Bluecaps (featuring legendary guitarist Cliff Gallup) a band that was arguably the toughest and most cohesive rock outfit of their day. Unlike some of his earlier albums, there's little throwaway period filler here; the occasional pre-rock pop standard like "Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate the Positive" notwithstanding, most of the songs are flat-out rockers. As usual, Vincent and band throw themselves into even lesser songs ("Mitchiko From Tokyo," " Why Don't You People Learn How to Drive") with an almost feral energy, and when the songs are good, like Johnny Burnette's "I Got to Get to You," the results are transcendent. Bonus tracks include two of Vincent's best known songs, the Bobby Darin-penned "Wear My Ring" and the definitively lubricious rockabilly workout "Lotta Lovin'"
