Massachusetts-based Have Heart have been bringing their blend of straight-edge and metalcore to the table since 2003, but their second full-length album, SONGS TO SCREAM AT THE SUN, finds them perfecting their marriage of punk purity and thrash theatrics. Patrick Flynn's soul-baring scream and equally intense lyrics lend a fair amount of emotional heft to the band's hard-hitting sound throughout this release.
